Bespoke websites

Your website, built from modules. Each one already proven in the field.

We start from a solid base and add only what you need: getting found on Google, drafting your social media posts with AI, running everything from an admin panel of your own. Every module was born on a real project and works there every day.

From a hundred scattered pieces to a single product

Google Analytics reports, contact requests, business software, social media: they usually sit in different places, each with its own password. We bring them together in a single product, built around your needs, with proven, cutting-edge technology.

We connect what you already use

Your website plugs into the services you already have instead of replacing them. For Space Work it reads the job ads automatically from InRecruiting, their recruitment software: nobody retypes anything.

Your data is never lost

When you move from your old website we bring everything with us: pages, articles, your historical data and the contacts you have already gathered. For Space Work all 38 archive articles came across, and the old agency’s report has been rebuilt line by line so the history carries on unbroken.

One admin panel, made for you

Inside you find only what you need: you work better, with fewer distractions, and keeping the website up to date becomes simple.

What you gain, in numbers

Calculations and sources
  • Assumptions: an SME that publishes 4 news articles a month, puts 10 new listings online and receives 20 enquiries through its website.
  • News: 4 × 66 minutes saved (from 80 to 14, an estimate from the Space Work case) = 264 minutes.
  • Listings: 10 × 10 minutes no longer spent copying them onto the website = 100 minutes.
  • Enquiries: 20 × 3 minutes no longer spent transcribing them = 60 minutes.
  • Total: 424 minutes a month, about 7 hours; about 85 hours a year.
  • Value: 85 hours × €38.60 (average hourly labour cost in Italy in 2025, Eurostat) ≈ €3,273.
  • AI cost: 4 news articles × about 5 US cents = about 20 cents a month.
  • Social media: by hand, a post took about 10 minutes (30 for three); with the social media engine, three posts take about 5 (table in the Space Work case study).

The modules

Modules can be added without redoing what is already there. You can start from the base and grow when you are ready.

Module 1

Foundations: your bespoke website

A website built from scratch for your business: fast, and designed first and foremost for phones.

What’s included

What you get

  • a modern website, without WordPress or similar site builders (we explain why further down the page);
  • designed mobile-first, because that is where most visits come from today;
  • service pages built on the same template: key points, how you work, an invitation to get in touch;
  • an “About us” page with the team, filterable, and a biography for each person;
  • separate journeys for your different audiences (clients and candidates, for example), each taking them straight to the point;
  • a contact form that helps people fill it in: it flags what is missing field by field, fixes typos in email addresses (“gmial.com” becomes “gmail.com”) and spots fake phone numbers;
  • a button-based assistant that guides visitors to the right page, with answers written and checked in advance;
  • accessible to people who use assistive technology too, such as screen readers.

An example

On spacework.it, in May 2026, 66% of visits came from phones. That is why the site has a fixed bar at the bottom with Get in touch, Send your CV and the services.

Who it’s for: For everyone. It is the base the other modules are added to.

We use it on this website too

Module 2

SEO and AI visibility

Getting you found on Google, and by AI assistants, by people who don’t know your name yet.

What’s included

What SEO means

It is the set of techniques that makes your website appear in Google’s results when someone searches for a service like yours.

What you get

  • a dedicated page for each service, with a title and description written for search;
  • structured data: invisible labels that tell Google and AI assistants what is on the page (the company, its offices, services, people, articles);
  • the sitemap submitted to Google, in two languages too, without the versions being mistaken for duplicates;
  • migration without losses: every old address leads to the matching new page, and pages that no longer exist say so to Google in the proper way;
  • pages built in advance and lightweight images, for a fast website.

An example

Before the new website, about 64% of clicks from Google to Space Work came from people already searching for “Space Work” by name. The job was to open up every other way in. During the migration, 50 redirect rules were checked on the live domain: 100 checks out of 100 passed.

Why it matters for AI too

In May 2026, 11% of visits to spacework.it came from ChatGPT. Content that is clear to machines is content that AI assistants can cite.

Who it’s for: For anyone rebuilding their website who doesn’t want to lose their rankings, and for anyone who wants to be found beyond the circle of people who already know them.

We use it on this website too: structured data and sitemap

Module 3

Bespoke admin panel

The place you run your website from, without calling a developer.

What’s included

What you get

  • management of news, documents, team members, client references and partners;
  • drag-and-drop ordering of content, by keyboard and touch too;
  • images cropped and recompressed automatically on upload;
  • different roles for different people: writing, viewing without editing, handling enquiries, administration;
  • access protected by mandatory two-step verification (a password plus a code from an app on your phone);
  • a single log of the enquiries received through the website, marked read or unread, with export and data retention in line with the GDPR;
  • a built-in guide that explains every page of the admin panel.

An example

The Space Work admin panel has five roles. The Creator writes and publishes, but cannot see enquiries or figures. The Viewer sees everything without being able to change anything: the right role for a consultant or for someone taking over.

Who it’s for: For anyone who wants to update their website independently, with different people doing different things.

We use it on this website too

Module 4

AI social media engine

You write a news article, and AI drafts the posts for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. A person reviews them and publishes.

What’s included

What you get

  • from one article, three different posts, each following the rules of its own network (length, tone, links, hashtags, emoji);
  • hashtags drawn from what the article actually says, readable by screen readers too;
  • automatic LinkedIn mentions of registered partners and clients;
  • on Instagram: carousels of up to 10 photos, cropped automatically around the part that matters, and image descriptions for blind and partially sighted people;
  • vertical Stories from graphic templates, with a live preview;
  • three buttons: Approve, Test, Publish. No post goes out unless a person decides it should;
  • AI costs shown item by item in the admin panel.

The rules against made-up facts

AI may only use the facts written in the article. No added numbers, names or dates. The system checks every response before showing it.

An example

For Space Work, the three social media drafts for an article cost about 5 US cents. The work on a typical news article drops from about 80 to about 14 minutes (our own estimate, stated as such in the case study).

Who it’s for: For anyone who publishes news or articles and doesn’t have the time to adapt them to each social network.

We use it on this website too: drafting the posts

Module 5

AI for content

Summaries and translations ready in one click, always to be reviewed and approved.

What’s included

What you get

  • an article’s summary, generated from the text in one click;
  • translations into English with a glossary for your trade: for example, the Italian formazione becomes training, never formation;
  • an automatic check that flags when a sentence changes in Italian and the English version falls behind;
  • a practice mode for showing a new person around the admin panel, without spending anything on AI.

An example

On spacework.it the language check keeps watch over 902 interface texts. If someone changes a sentence and forgets the English, the system flags it.

Who it’s for: For bilingual websites and for companies that do business abroad.

We use it on this website too: article summaries

Module 6

Connecting to your business software

Your website connects to the tools you already use, instead of replacing them.

What’s included

What you get

  • the website automatically reads the data in your business software and turns it into pages of its own;
  • nobody has to copy anything by hand;
  • where needed, the official forms of your software are embedded in the website’s pages, so sensitive data never passes through the website.

An example

Space Work manages candidates and job ads on InRecruiting. The website reads the ads every two hours and creates a page for each one, which Google can show in its job listings. When an ad opens or closes, Google is notified straight away. CVs go from the candidate’s browser directly to InRecruiting: the website never sees them.

Who it’s for: For recruitment agencies and for any company that already has business software and doesn’t want to change it.

Quote on requestAsk for details

Module 7

Reports and metrics

Your website’s numbers, inside the admin panel, explained so they can be understood and checked.

What’s included

What you get

  • the monthly Google Analytics report, read through simple questions: how many people arrive, where from, on which pages;
  • every calculated value shows its formula;
  • measurements taken by the website itself, without cookies: enquiries received, documents downloaded;
  • where needed, a comparison with the previous provider’s reports, so the history is not lost.

An example

In the Space Work report, percentages are not calculated below 30 sessions, because on numbers that small they would be misleading.

Who it’s for: For anyone who currently gets reports they can’t make sense of, or none at all.

We use it on this website too
Quote on requestAsk for details

Module 8

Security and privacy

Your website protects you, your clients and your reputation, with documented choices.

What’s included

What you get

  • four anti-spam defences on every public form, invisible to real people;
  • protected domain email: anyone who tries to send email pretending to be you is turned away by the providers before reaching the inbox;
  • security instructions for every browser that opens the website;
  • proper GDPR consent: privacy required, marketing optional and never pre-ticked;
  • a separate test environment: every change is tested there before it goes live.

An example

The confirmation email sent to anyone who writes to Space Work has fixed wording and copies nothing from their message. That way nobody can use the form to send a scam message from the Space Work address.

Who it’s for: For everyone. A website that collects contacts is a website that handles personal data.

Quote on requestAsk for details

Module 9

Website care: the website that keeps an eye on itself

After handover, your website stays monitored, backed up and up to date. And it lets you know when something needs attention.

What’s included

What you get

  • a check every 5 minutes that the website is responding: we see a problem before visitors do;
  • automatic collection of errors, stripped of personal data;
  • seven alarms that go off when something that should have happened didn’t (a missed backup, for example);
  • an email summary every Monday on the state of the website, compared with the week before;
  • encrypted backups twice a day, with restores that have actually been tested;
  • a readable copy of your data every week, downloadable from the admin panel: the data is yours and always in your hands;
  • the engine room: a page listing every service the website relies on, who it is registered to and where it is managed, with no passwords;
  • the maintenance log, with who did what and when;
  • a monthly review of component updates.

An example

The Space Work backups have actually been restored twice, in July and September 2026. The second test found ten tables out of ten matching.

Who it’s for: For every client, after handover. A website doesn’t age all at once: it ages one piece at a time.

Module 10

Custom projects

Solutions we have already designed, ready to be built around your needs.

Designed, but not yet live with any client. Quoted separately.

What’s included

What you get (pick what you need)

  • AI chatbot that answers in natural language using only the website’s public content, designed to prevent made-up answers and information leaks;
  • Internal assistant: a document archive in the admin panel, with an AI assistant that answers staff questions by searching the company’s documents;
  • 360-degree appraisals: a platform for skills assessments, replacing forms, spreadsheets and presentations put together by hand;
  • New pages to get you found: pages by city and by sector, guides, FAQs, a glossary.

Who it’s for: For anyone who already has the Foundations and wants to take the next step.

Why we don’t use WordPress

WordPress is the most widely used tool for building websites, and it can rank well on Google. We choose to build bespoke for a simple reason: total control and fewer weak points.

A bespoke website costs more up front, and every new feature goes through us rather than through a plugin. In return you don’t pay in slowness, security holes and nasty surprises. If all you need is a simple blog, we’ll tell you so ourselves: WordPress may be enough.

The point-by-point comparison
PlayMind bespoke websiteTypical WordPress website
SpeedPages built in advance, no plugins slowing them downDepends on theme and plugins, often heavy
Information for GoogleGenerated automatically from the website’s real dataLeft to generic plugins
Moved or deleted pagesEvery address handled and checkedOften handled badly, or not at all
SecurityNo well-known admin panel to attack, no third-party pluginsThe platform most targeted by attacks
UpdatesPlanned and tested in advanceOne plugin update can break the website
