Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the personal data of people who use this site is processed, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The site collects data in three cases only: when you register for the reserved area, when you write to us through the contact form, and when you book an appointment.

1. Data controller

The controller is Giorgio Zamboni (PlayMind Studio), Savona, Italy. For any request about your data you can write to playmind.studio.gz@gmail.com.

2. What data we process and why

• Reserved area (registration): name and email. Used to send you the access link (a one-time link, no password) and to manage your access to reserved content. If you choose to sign in with Google or LinkedIn, your account passes us your name and email after you give consent on that platform: your password never reaches us. Legal basis: performance of a measure you requested (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the message text. Used to reply to you and stored in our reserved area to handle the request (see retention in point 3). A notification with the message also reaches the controller on Telegram, so we can reply sooner. Legal basis: response to your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Appointment booking: name, email and the time of the appointment, which reach us from Cal.com when you pick a slot. Used to hold the appointment and to prepare for it (see retention in point 3). Legal basis: performance of a measure you requested (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Cookies and analytics: we use necessary technical cookies and anonymous, cookieless traffic statistics (Vercel Web Analytics); cookie-based statistics (Google Analytics) are enabled only with your consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time. The full detail, with names and durations, is in the Cookie Policy. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) for cookie-based statistics; technical necessity for necessary cookies.
• Images from GitHub: on the pages that show GitHub repositories (such as GitHub Best), the images of projects and authors load directly from GitHub's servers, which receive your device's IP address to send them, as with any image taken from another site. We receive no data from GitHub. Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing projects with their image (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

3. How long we keep it

• Reserved-area registration: as long as you want to keep access, or until you ask for deletion.
• Contact-form messages: for the time needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 5 years.
• Appointments booked through the site: 5 years from the booking.
• Cookie consent record: 5 years from your choice, so we can prove it was actually made (detail in the Cookie Policy).

Once those terms expire the data is deleted by an automated routine that runs every month: it is not a promise we keep by hand.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. To run the site we rely on a few providers that process it as processors, only for the purposes described here:

• Resend — sending the email with the access link.
• Google / Gmail — sending the contact-form emails.
• Vercel — site hosting, file storage and anonymous traffic statistics (Web Analytics, cookieless).
• Neon — the site's database, on servers in Europe (Frankfurt).
• Google (Analytics) — site usage statistics, enabled only with your consent.
• Cal.com — booking management, if you choose to schedule an appointment.
• Telegram — notifying the controller of contact-form messages.
• Google and LinkedIn — signing in to the reserved area with your account, only if you choose to.
• GitHub — repository images, loaded by your browser (see point 2).

Some providers are based in the United States: any transfers take place with adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

5. Our channels: social networks and YouTube

We publish our articles and videos on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and on our Telegram channel (t.me/playmindstudio), from the site's admin panel and with our own accounts: our systems send no data about the site's visitors to these platforms. If you follow us, comment or write to us there, your data is processed by those platforms under their own policies, and we see what they show to whoever manages a page or channel (for example your public name and the text of a comment).

YouTube. To publish videos on our channel we use YouTube API Services. The YouTube Terms of Service and theGoogle Privacy Policy apply. From the service we store only the number and public address of our videos. Access granted to an application can be revoked at any time from your Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).

6. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability. To exercise these rights write to playmind.studio.gz@gmail.com: to delete your reserved-area registration, one line is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7. Security

We adopt adequate technical measures. Access to the reserved area happens through a one-time link, without a password; access and session tokens are stored in the database only as hashes, never in clear text.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The date at the top shows the last revision.
